The company has 1000's of complaints and rips off the consumer. I didn't buy the product through Amazon, but after seeing the infomercial purchased from UBuyez.com. The sizing is way off the map. I'm a size 14/16 and ordered a size 4 from the site. This is suppose to fit a person 5'0"/170# to 5'10"/220# You'll notice they do not provide measurements of Hips or waist. The shapers sent were an XL on the packaging material. My daughter who is a size 9 could barely get this on. It doesn't stretch and the material is very scratchy, like poor quality canvas. When I contacted the company about the size... they don't answer the telephone. They tell you to leave a message but good luck with that as you never get thru the phone system to leave one. Opened a complaint with the BBB and they [Kymaro] responded saying that a size 4 is an XL in their product. I tried just about everything from corsets, all elastic tummy tuckers, I mean EVERYTHING! I was really hesitant about buying this product after reading numerous bad reviews from Amazon & other sites, but one day in our local Walmart they were selling them for nearly less then half of what they sold on their infomercials - $29.99. I paid close attention to the sizing listed on the box and bought me an XL one week & a L another week, I'm around 5 ft 5 inch @ 190lbs & a 38 D cup. These were by far the most comfortable and most supportive then any of the other dozen similar products I had already tried & had burrowed in my dresser drawers. I get excellent back support & it wasn't so tight that I felt uncomfortable or "ached" from wearing it. I am 5'4" and since I have had my two kids, I now weigh 130 pounds. I have tried other "slimming" undergarments to attempt to look the way I used to in my old clothes, and while some helped, I found the Kymaro body shaper to work superbly! I looked about 10 pounds lighter or more! It is REALLY supportive and really sucks that tummy in! The only draw back I found was that you cannot wear it with tank tops or dresses with spaghetti straps since the back is so high. It would be great if they made a strapless version! |
